Homework
Math- Lesson 96 (1-30)
Reading- Integrated Theme Test
Writing- Sacagawea
* The class has been working very hard on making good answers to questions. Knowing how to pick the main idea out of a reading passage is a very important skill. When you are reading things at home (newspaper, magazine, etc.) ask your child to read along. See if they can pick out the main idea. They may have a different opinion than you, and that is ok. Ask them to back it up with a couple of details from what they read. If they can do that GREAT! If they have a hard time with that, you may want to tell them what you think the main idea is and why. :)
* Monday is music.

Homework
There is no homework tonight. We felt that we needed to give the class as much time as possible to perfect their Famous Missourian Reports. You will also see that we are doing more MAP practice as the test approaches, which means, less homework for the kids. They will still be working hard here at school. I am confident that these students know what it takes to make a good answer, and we will just be practicing and perfecting those things. Thank you so much for all of your support! Make sure that your child is ready for their presentations tomorrow or Wed. It would be good for them to stand in front of you and practice!
